NATURAL HEALING WITH FLOWER ESSENCES

Flower essences and the use of flowers for the purpose of healing and health have a very long history - as far back as ancient civilisations. Many cultures used and still continue to use flowers to help balance emotions and health. Health professionals today use flower essences in their treatment for a vast range of emotional states. When emotional balance is obtained, deep healing can take place.

Most practitioners are aware that many physical illnesses can develop after traumatic experiences. If the trauma is not dealt with it can often result in emotional imbalance and eventually our health will be impacted. Using flower essences can help a vast range of negative emotional states by helping to develop a deeper understanding of our emotions and can assist us to be more aware of our intuitive abilities.

How Do Flower Essences Work?

Herbs, minerals and vitamins for example work only on the physical body. Flower essences work on a much deeper level by working from the outer body to the physical body by influencing our three levels of consciousness. These include our conscious, subconscious mind and our higher self or superconscious mind.

Our conscious mind contains our thoughts, memories and feelings. It encompasses the thoughts we know we are having at any given moment. Our subconscious mind holds many of our beliefs and the decisions we make without thinking actively. These beliefs can often influence our actions and are formed in the first few years of our life. The higher self or superconscious mind holds inspiration, intuition and here we can access the positive qualities within us such as love.

Flower essences help the positive qualities from our superconscious mind to move into our conscious minds. Negative beliefs and emotions can be resolved by developing a new level of understanding. Therefore, with a new level of emotional understanding, the negative beliefs are replaced with the positive features of ourselves.

We all have many emotional layers and flower essences are effective only to the point that you are ready to let go. Flower essences are very safe and have no side effects. They are effective when taken by both animals and children. Children often have less resistance and emotional barriers and the dose for children is the same as it is for adults and animals.

An essence that I find very useful is Emergency essence. It helps to ease distress, fear and panic. It can provide comfort during very stressful times and can be taken every hour or more frequently if necessary, until the person feels better.

If you are wondering how to take flower essences, it is very simple. From a dosage bottle they can be taken morning and night by putting the drops under the tongue or as directed by your practitioner. They can also be applied topically by adding them to lotions or bath water or by adding the drops to drinking water. They are generally taken over a three-week period, but this can vary depending on the persons requirements.

Flower essences can be made by a trained practitioner for a combination tailored to your individual needs. Flower essences have the ability to take you on a beautiful journey of self-discovery and healing if your heart and mind are open.
