MO KITCHEN RECIPE:
AVOCADO TZATZIKI

We often get asked in store about great dips! We stock a huge range of dips instore that are fresh, but sometimes you want a quick make-at-home recipe that you can whip up in no time. Here we have our simple 3 step Avocado Tzatziki recipe, perfect for dipping warm pita in, or for serving on flatbread!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cucumber diced into 1 - 2cm cubes

  • 20ml olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic - crushed

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 150g coconut greek yoghurt (or plant based yoghurt)

  • 1/3 tsp chili powder

  • Pinch black pepper

  • 1 avo cut into 1/2 cm cubes

  • 3 chopped mint leaves

METHOD:

  1. Place cucumber in a large colander and sprinkle with 1/4 tsp of salt. Leave to drain for 20 mins.

  2. In a large bowl add remaining ingredients excluding - avocado, cucumber and mint, stir ingredients to combine.

  3. Add avocado and drained cucumber. Mix well, gently squash avocado into the mixture, add mint and mix again.
