Make the most of this weeks Member's Special (06/55/24) - Apple Cider Vinegar and make this deliciously fiery rosella jam, packed with fresh ingredients to add a kick to your toast, scones, porridge....the options are endless!

FIERY CHILLI JAM

INGREDIENTS

• 150g whole rosella (mo urban farm)

• 100g hot chill (mo urban farm)

• 150ml Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

• 500g sugar*

• 100ml water

*We used white sugar, but if you’d like more of a caramel flavour we recommend using brown or coconut sugar

METHOD

• Peel leaves off rosella seed pod. Boil pods with water for 20-30mins to release pectin.

• Remove pods from water, add sugar and apple cider vinegar stirring gently.

• Once disolved, add the chilli and rosella leaves and simmer till rosella soft.

• Once off the heat, add a squeeze of lemon, stir through and pour into sterilised jars

• For a thicker consistency, reduce mixture further and be careful not to burn!!
